The String Connection is owned and operated by Don and Hollie Simpson.

They have lived and worked in Arlington, Texas for over 25 years.

Don began playing guitar at the age of 10.   He has a degree in classical guitar performance and has performed in master classes for Fredrick Hand, Oscar Gighlia, and David Russell, and has attended seminars taught by Howard Roberts and Johnny Smith.

He has done numerous studio sessions and performed on live radio and in more than a dozen cable television shows.

Don accepts students and performs frequently in the Arlington/Dallas/Fort Worth area.

In addition to his playing and teaching, Don's music background includes over 25 years in music retail for three different music companies.   His experience includes management, educational sales, and extensive work as a luthier and repair technician.
